Our shepherds have had this ball for a few months and it was so popular that I had to buy two. The ball is brightly colored so it has worked quite nicely in the snow. It really bounces, so you have to worry it doesn't go over the fence and into your neighbor's yard so throw lightly! The texture of the ball is nice; not too soft and not too hard. Although every other shepherd has not been able to puncture it at all, Xella has managed to nosh on it to the point where it completely flattens out. However, the ball quickly comes back to life and hasn't lost it's shape.
I had hoped to buy the two-pack of the ball to save some money, but the medium ball is on the small size, so the large is a must. I've gotten both Chuck-it's at my local Petsmart.
